Before you start
- Account deletion cannot be started while a paid plan period is running; wait for the period to end.
- If you own an account that has other members, you first need to transfer ownership to another member.
- Deleting your account does not delete your surveys or responses. If you need this data, download it first with “Export”, and request its deletion separately.
Delete your account
- 1Sign in at account.youreply.com.tr and open the “Privacy and my data” page.
- 2In the “Delete my account” section, type your own email address in the confirmation field.
- 3Click “Permanently delete my account”. Your account is frozen and your session ends.
- 4A 7-day waiting period starts; you can change your mind during this time.
- 5After the period ends, the deletion is completed by the YouReply team.
What happens to your data after deletion?
- Your first and last name, email address, phone, date of birth, identity and address details are anonymized.
- Your password is removed; your sign-in IP records, session tokens and settings are deleted.
- A hashed form of your email address and phone number is kept on a block list for 1 month.
- Order and invoice records are kept for 10 years as required by law.
- Your data inside the products (for example surveys and responses) is not deleted by this process.
Accounts unused for 2 years receive a notice; 30 days after the notice, a deletion request is created for the account.
Request deletion of survey and response data
YouReply Survey has no button that deletes surveys or responses. Deletion requests are carried out manually by the YouReply team.
- 1Download the responses you want to keep with “Export”.
- 2Write to kvkk@youreply.com.tr from the email address registered to your account.
- 3In the email, list the names or share links of the surveys you want deleted.
If you are a respondent
If you want the answers you gave to a survey deleted, contact the researcher who ran the survey. Surveys and responses live in the researcher's account; the researcher can send the deletion request as described above.
