Overview
When you open a survey, the “Overview” tab shows four key numbers:
- Total Responses: every response to the survey, whatever its status.
- Completed: the number of completed responses.
- Completion Rate: completed responses as a share of all responses.
- Avg. Time: the average duration of completed responses.
Responses tab
- 1Go to the “Responses” tab on the survey's detail page.
- 2The table shows a sequence number and the “Status”, “Submitted”, “Duration” and “Answers” columns for each response. Each page lists 20 responses.
- 3Expand a row to see the answers in that response, when each answer was given and the seconds spent on each question.
Response statuses
- Started: the respondent started the survey.
- In Progress: the response is not finished yet and still ongoing.
- Completed: the respondent finished and submitted the survey.
- Abandoned: the response was left before it was completed.
- Disqualified: the respondent was screened out by a “Disqualify” rule.
Check response quality manually
YouReply Survey does not automatically flag responses given too quickly or carelessly. You can review suspicious responses yourself using the time per question and the total time. To review many responses, the “Time on question” and “Total time” columns in the exported file are more practical.
What this screen does not have
- The responses table has no filters. To work with specific responses, export the file and use the “Completed responses only” filter, or filter the file in a spreadsheet program.
- Responses cannot be deleted in the app; how to request deletion is explained in the Delete your account and data guide.
- No email notification is sent when a new response arrives.
- For statistical analysis of your responses, you can use the exported file with YouReply Analyze.
