Building a survey from a template

Open the Templates screen
Go to the Templates menu in the app; browse the categories or use the Search templates… box.

Choose the survey language
Use the Survey language setting to view the Turkish or English version of a template. Templates are single-language, and the survey you create is in the language you chose.

Preview
Use Preview to review the template's questions and flow the way participants will see them.

Use and adapt the template
Create your own survey from the template with Use Template, then change the questions, options, design and settings to fit your research.

Check and publish
Do a final check with Preview and Path test, open the survey with Publish, then copy and share the Share Link.
What to watch for when adapting a template
- Rewrite question wording to fit your audience's language and context; templates are general-purpose.
- Remove questions that do not serve your research question; every unnecessary question adds to participant burden.
- Add conditional logic, randomization and response limits to suit your own flow if needed.
- Edit the Welcome Screen and Thank You Screen texts for your organization.
- If you collect personal or special category data with health, finance or employee templates, inform participants; consent text and the consent checkbox can be used for this step.
- A template is not a substitute for a scientifically validated scale. If you use a published scale in an academic study, check the items and permission to use them against the original source.
Frequently asked questions
Are templates available in Turkish and English?
You can view templates in Turkish or English with the Survey language setting on the Templates screen. Each template, and the survey created from it, is single-language; publishing in two languages requires two separate surveys.
Can I change a survey created from a template?
Yes. A survey created with Use Template is edited like any other draft: you can add and remove questions and change logic rules and design.
Which category is the NPS template in?
The NPS, CSAT and CES templates are in the Customer Satisfaction category. The Scale group of the question palette also contains an NPS question and ready-made CSAT and CES questions.
